Financial Aid Counselor/Coordinator, to provide assistance to the Director of Financial Aid in counseling students and coordinating processes in Financial Aid, contributing to the overall success of the Financial Aid Office and providing excellent customer service to students using Financial Aid services. Responsibilities include assisting with administering financial aid, counseling students on financial aid, overseeing staff, maintaining and using PowerFAIDS information system, information dissemination, financial aid for veterans, scholarship program and appeals. Requires bachelor’s degree and experience working with students, experience in financial aid preferred; excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; computer literacy and attention to detail. Male Housing Assistant, Crowder College
. Half-time position with salary of $9.84/hour plus room and board. Must live in College Residence Halls and be on-call on alternate weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with coordination of student housing to include processing applications, housing assignments, discipline, security and safety, data entry and reporting, handling funds and balancing deposits, monitoring physical facilities, and receptionist and other miscellaneous duties as needed. Associate degree or equivalent preferred and two years of related work experience, accuracy in data entry and math calculations, computer literacy, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills. CAMP Academic Advisor, Crowder College, responsible for providing academic support and participant services to the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), including; tutoring, academic advising, and career counseling. This position will also track participant performance, prepare participants for graduation and transfer options, develop transfer plans in coordination with Career Services personnel, and maintain participant records. He/she must demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the migrant and seasonal farm worker community. Some travel will be required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred with commensurate experience working with college-age students or at-risk populations.
